Sony Launches FX5 Cinema Line Camera in Bangladesh

Sony has introduced its latest FX5 Cinema Line camera to Bangladesh, unveiling the new model at an event in Dhaka. The camera boasts a full-frame stacked Exmor RS CMOS sensor and Sony's BIONZ XR2 processing engine, promising superior image quality.

The FX5 features a full-frame stacked Exmor RS CMOS sensor and Sony’s BIONZ XR2 processing engine.

Key features include over 15 stops of dynamic range in S-Log3, three base ISO settings (800, 4000, and 12800), and a new Dual Gain Shooting mode designed to minimize noise in low-light conditions. The FX5 is the first in its series to support Open Gate shooting, utilizing the entire 3:2 sensor area, and offers internal recording in Sony's 16-bit X-OCN RAW format.

It offers more than 15 stops of dynamic range in S-Log3, three base ISO settings of 800, 4000 and 12800, and a new Dual Gain Shooting mode aimed at reducing noise in darker areas.

Videographers can capture 5K footage at up to 60 frames per second, 4K at up to 120fps, and Full HD at up to 240fps. The camera also integrates AI-assisted autofocus, 5-axis in-body image stabilization, and a 3.5-inch articulating touchscreen. Sony also launched two new accessories: the DVF-EL1 OLED viewfinder and the XLR-H2 audio handle, further enhancing the camera's professional capabilities.

According to Sony, the model is the first in its FX series to support Open Gate shooting using the full 3:2 sensor area, as well as internal recording in the company’s 16-bit X-OCN RAW format.
