South Korea's journey in the 2026 Little League World Series has concluded after the Seoul B team suffered a 1-5 defeat against Canada in a consolation game. The loss eliminated the South Korean representatives from the tournament held in Williamsport, Pennsylvania. This outcome was particularly disappointing as South Korea had previously dominated Canada with a decisive 7-0 victory in the opening round. However, in the crucial third-round consolation match, the team conceded four runs in the first inning and another in the second. Despite managing to draw eight walks, the South Korean offense struggled to generate significant hits, ultimately scoring only one run. The Seoul B team, an all-star selection from Incheon, had earned their spot in the World Series by winning the domestic qualifiers and the Asia-Pacific regional tournament undefeated, marking South Korea's return to the LLBWS after a seven-year absence.
