South Korean golfer Kim Min-sol rises to 14th in world rankings

Kim Min-sol moved up one place to 14th in the women's golf world rankings announced on the 8th, becoming the highest-ranked player competing on the KLPGA Tour.

Kim recorded an average of 3.80 points. Her recent results include runner-up finishes at the Mediheal-Korea일보 Championship and the KLPGA Championship, followed by a third-place finish at the OK Savings Bank Eutman Open, which ended on the 6th. Those results lifted her ranking for a third consecutive week after she had stood 20th.

Seo Gyo-rim, one of Kim's KLPGA Tour rivals this season, remained 30th after sitting out the Eutman Open. Choi Ye-rim, who won the tournament with a 10-under-par 206, jumped 28 places from 101st to 83rd.

The victory marked Choi's first win on the regular tour after she made her debut in 2018 and had finished runner-up nine times. Nelly Korda, Jeeno Thitikul, Haeran Ryu and Hyo-joo Kim held the top four spots, while Sei-young Kim remained in the top 10 at ninth.
