South Korean PM Urges China to Play Role in Inter-Korean Issues

South Korean Prime Minister Kim Min-seok met with Chinese Premier Li Qiang in Dalian, emphasizing the need for deeper cooperation between the two nations. During the meeting, Kim directly urged China to take a more active role in addressing inter-Korean issues, suggesting that President Xi Jinping could be instrumental in facilitating progress.

Kim also highlighted the importance of elevating bilateral exchanges across political, economic, and cultural spheres, with a particular focus on fostering greater youth engagement. The South Korean Prime Minister stated that both countries should strive for a "higher level of exchange" in these areas, reinforcing the strategic cooperative partnership that binds Seoul and Beijing.
