Soy Luna Returns: Disney+ Announces Fourth Season Premiere Date and Details

The beloved youth series "Soy Luna" is making a comeback with its fourth season, "Soy Luna: Volver a Rodar," set to premiere on Disney+ on July 24, 2026. The announcement, accompanied by the release of the first trailer on June 3, has reignited excitement among long-time fans and captured the attention of new viewers.

Set approximately three years after the original series concluded, the new season promises to expand the "Soy Luna" universe, depicting its characters in a more mature phase of life. While their passion for music and skating remains, Luna Valente, portrayed by Mexican actress Karol Sevilla, will navigate new emotional complexities and romantic entanglements. The narrative will see Luna, now a recognized freestyle skating star, returning to Jam & Roller after recovering from a severe ankle injury sustained during a performance. A new villain is also set to disrupt her path.

The production, helmed by Metrovision and directed by Martín Sabán, will consist of 12 episodes. Filming took place in various locations across Argentina and Mexico. Fans can anticipate reimagined versions of familiar songs, new musical numbers, and the introduction of fresh characters, unexpected reunions, and exciting adventures. The first single from the new season, "De ti me enamoré," a romantic pop ballad reflecting the love triangle between Luna, Matteo, and Simón, has already been released on digital platforms.

Coinciding with the 10th anniversary of the original series' debut in March 2016, the fourth season's premiere is a significant event for the franchise. To further engage fans, Disney Latinoamérica announced that a live show tour across Latin America will accompany the season's release in 2026.
