Spain bench Pedri, De Bruyne and Doku start for Belgium

Spain's manager Luis de la Fuente has made a single alteration to his lineup for the World Cup quarter-final against Belgium, surprisingly benching Pedri in favor of Fabian Ruiz.

Fabian Ruiz will join Rodri and Dani Olmo in Spain's midfield. The Spanish attack remains unchanged, with Lamine Yamal, Alex Baena, and Mikel Oyarzabal set to start. Pedri's omission comes as a surprise following Spain's victory over Portugal.

Belgium, meanwhile, sees the return of key players Kevin De Bruyne and Jeremy Doku. De Bruyne steps in for Amadou Onana, who suffered an anterior cruciate ligament rupture during Belgium's match against the United States. Doku also earns a starting spot, with Dodi Lukebakio moving to the bench.
