Spain’s Prime Minister Sánchez replies to Turkish high school’s invitation with a letter

A high school magazine from Kayseri reached Spanish Prime Minister Pedro Sánchez, along with an invitation to visit the school. Sánchez responded with a signed letter thanking the students and teachers.

The magazine, Kıvılcım, was produced by teachers and students at İncesu Mustafa Özkan Anatolian High School. It contains poems, articles, essays, reflections, interviews and information about the school. After receiving the publication, Sánchez wrote that he had reviewed it and could not arrange a visit because of his demanding schedule.

Our school’s teachers and students jointly produced our school magazine, Kıvılcım.

School principal Fatih Şahin said the letter conveyed the prime minister’s thanks and congratulations in a warm and sincere way. He said the school sent the magazine as part of its effort to help students set ambitious goals and discover new horizons.

Şahin thanked Sánchez for taking the time to respond and said the school viewed such activities as part of its educational mission. The magazine was developed under the school’s efforts to support capable and principled students through creative projects.
