Thousands of jubilant fans flooded the Angel of Independence roundabout in Mexico City to celebrate Spain's World Cup triumph over Argentina. Waving Mexican and Spanish flags, and adorned in green attire, the ecstatic crowd chanted in support of the new football champions and against the Argentine team.

The festivities led to significant traffic blockages on Paseo de la Reforma, between the Angel of Independence and the Glorieta del Ahuehuete, affecting traffic in both directions. Despite the presence of security forces from the Secretariat of Citizen Security, many revelers arrived with beer cans and bottles, contributing to the lively, albeit somewhat unruly, atmosphere.

Meanwhile, in Spain, fans also gathered at the Glorieta de Cibeles in Madrid to mark their national team's victory. The celebrations in Mexico City highlight the widespread passion for football, with fans embracing the opportunity to unite and celebrate a major sporting event.
