This includes inspecting tire pressure and tread, checking engine belts and hoses for wear, and replacing the fuel filter to maintain optimal engine performance and fuel economy. Brakes require careful examination, ensuring pads are replaced before rotors or drums are damaged, and inspecting related hardware.

Regular checks of engine oil and fluid levels, such as coolant and brake fluid, are crucial, along with inspecting the air filter to prevent contaminants from affecting engine performance and fuel consumption. The battery should be checked for corrosion or damage, and shocks and struts examined for leaks that could impact ride quality and handling. Finally, functional wiper blades are essential for clear visibility, and all exterior lights, including turn signals and hazard lights, must be tested.
