The forward experienced a mixed tenure at Manchester City, showing promise in his initial season before facing limited playing time in the last campaign, often playing behind established strikers like Erling Haaland. He managed only three goals in 21 Premier League appearances last season, a significant drop from the seven goals he scored in his first half-season.

Under De Zerbi, who took over in March and steered Spurs clear of relegation, Marmoush is expected to find more opportunities.
