Taiwan is set for a period of stable, warm weather leading up to Wednesday, with daytime temperatures reaching up to 32 degrees Celsius. Residents can expect sunny to partly cloudy conditions, though brief afternoon showers may occur in the island's mountainous regions. This pleasant weather, however, is a prelude to a significant shift.

Starting Thursday, a cold front is forecast to move through Taiwan, accompanied by a strengthening northeast monsoon. This weather system will bring a noticeable change, with skies becoming increasingly unstable and rain expected to spread from the north to the south of the island. The transition marks the end of the current warm spell.

Following the passage of the cold front, temperatures are predicted to decline. The northern and eastern parts of Taiwan will experience the most significant cooling, with highs dropping to around 23-25 degrees Celsius, while southern Taiwan will remain slightly warmer. This cooler weather is expected to persist through Saturday, with lingering chances of localized showers.

By Sunday, a gradual improvement in weather conditions is anticipated as the northeast monsoon weakens and moisture levels decrease. Skies are expected to clear, returning to sunny to partly cloudy conditions, and temperatures will begin to rise again, offering a return to more typical spring weather.
