Stanbic IBTC Pensions Wins UBA Pensions Sports Tournament for Second Year Running

Stanbic IBTC Pensions has once again proven its dominance in the Nigerian pension industry by clinching the overall championship at the 12th UBA Pensions Annual Sports Tournament. This victory marks their second consecutive win, underscoring their consistent performance and competitive spirit. The event, held at the Upbeat Recreational Centre in Lekki, Lagos, brought together a significant number of pension professionals and industry leaders for a day dedicated to sports, networking, and camaraderie.

The tournament, themed “Move. Connect. Thrive,” featured a wide array of activities, from football to board games and fitness drills, fostering a spirit of healthy competition. A total of 57 medals were distributed, with Stanbic IBTC Pensions leading the pack, followed by Citizens Pensions in second place and FCMB Pensions securing third. The impressive turnout, including executive directors and managing directors from numerous institutions, highlighted the event's importance as a key fixture in the Nigerian pension calendar.
