Stefanović: Brnabić's Claims About European Serbia Platform's Intentions in Vojvodina Are Dangerous

Borko Stefanović, deputy leader of Serbia's Party of Freedom and Justice (SSP), has strongly condemned statements made by Serbian Assembly President Ana Brnabić regarding the Platform for European Serbia's upcoming tour of Vojvodina. Brnabić had claimed on social media that the platform's first objective was to reserve the area code +384 for Vojvodina.

This is not only very stupid what Ana Brnabić is saying. It is also very dangerous because with such lies, radicals traditionally create conflicts and divisions in Serbia.

Stefanović dismissed Brnabić's claims as not only 'very stupid' but also 'dangerous.' He argued that such fabrications traditionally serve to create conflict and division within Serbia, characterizing her party's rhetoric as one of 'hatred, blood, and soil.' He further insinuated that Brnabić and her associates are familiar with the manipulation of international codes, referencing the case of Kosovo's international dialing code.

For them, every message and every statement is directed only at the politics of hatred, blood, and soil.

Stefanović asserted that Brnabić demonstrates a profound ignorance of Vojvodina, an integral part of Serbia, and indeed, of the country as a whole. He suggested this lack of understanding stems from her unfamiliarity with legitimate governance, contrasting it with scenarios involving rigged tenders, criminal activities, or illicit dealings on islands.

Nobody knows giving calling codes as well as Ana Brnabić and her cronies from the criminal regime, just as they gave the international calling code to Kosovo.

This exchange follows Marinika Tepić of the SSP's announcement that the Platform for European Serbia would begin visiting cities and towns in Vojvodina. The platform aims to engage with citizens, present its agenda for rapid EU accession, genuine anti-corruption efforts, and priorities in education, healthcare, and agriculture, emphasizing the principle of equal value for all citizens. Tepić indicated planned visits to Pančevo, Zrenjanin, Kikinda, Subotica, Sombor, Novi Sad, and Inđija throughout August.
