Stewart Island Kiwi Spotted in Daylight Alongside Children on School Run

However, for three young students on Rakiura / Stewart Island this week, their journey to Halfmoon Bay School included an extraordinary encounter with one of New Zealand's most elusive and iconic birds: the kiwi.
