Strangers rebuild stolen farm stand for mother's bakery

A mother's entrepreneurial dream in Cumberland, Rhode Island, faced a disheartening setback when her brand-new farm stand, intended for her home-based sourdough bakery, was stolen just hours before its planned debut. Katrina Blancaflor, a former pastry chef aiming to launch 'K's Bakestand,' placed the custom-built wooden stand at the end of her driveway on the evening of July 3rd, hoping to attract attention from a local holiday road race.

By the following morning, the stand had vanished. Neighbors reviewing security camera footage discovered an SUV arriving around 2:00 a.m., lifting the heavy stand onto its roof, and driving away.
