Stransact to Reward 100 Varsity Students Nationwide

Stransact Chartered Accountants is launching a new initiative, the Stransact Honours Roll, to celebrate and reward academic excellence among graduating students in Nigeria. The program aims to identify and honor 100 exceptional students from 20 universities ranked among the top globally.

These selected universities are chosen based on their standing in the Times Higher Education World University Rankings 2026. The initiative will recognize five outstanding graduating students from each of these institutions. The selected students will receive cash prizes and gain priority access to the Stransact Talent Vault (STV), the firm's core program for nurturing future talent.

This initiative rewards academic brilliance with cash prizes and a fast track into the Stransact Talent Vault (STV) – the firm’s cornerstone programme for building a pipeline of future-ready talent.

Among the top 20 Nigerian universities identified for this program are Ahmadu Bello University (ABU), Afe Babalola University (ABUAD), Babcock University, Bayero University Kano (BUK), and Covenant University (CU). Other participating institutions include Delta State University (DELSU), Ekiti State University (EKSU), Federal University of Technology Akure (FUTA), Federal University of Technology Owerri (FUTO), Lagos State University (LASU), Ladoke Akintola University of Technology (LAUTECH), and Obafemi Awolowo University (OAU).

University leaders have commended the initiative. Professor Wahab Egbewole, Vice-Chancellor of the University of Ilorin, praised Stransact for its merit-based approach, stating that the program will motivate students toward academic excellence and positive societal contributions. Stransact Chartered Accountants, an affiliate of RSM International, aims to foster a pipeline of future-ready talent through this program.
