Stuttgart responds to Galatasaray's offer for Ermedin Demirovic

Galatasaray, actively seeking to strengthen its attacking lineup, has made a concrete move for Stuttgart's 28-year-old forward, Ermedin Demirovic. According to Sky DE, the Turkish club has officially offered €15 million to the German side for the Bosnian international.

The Istanbul-based club has identified Demirovic as their top priority for the striker role. Galatasaray is reportedly prepared to offer the player a long-term contract and a net salary higher than what he currently earns at Stuttgart, aiming to sway his decision.

However, Stuttgart has deemed Galatasaray's initial €15 million bid insufficient. The German club considers Demirovic a key player and is expected to demand a significantly higher transfer fee. This stance sets the stage for potential negotiations between the two clubs.

Demirovic has previously been linked with Fenerbahçe, another Istanbul club, but those reports were officially denied by Fenerbahçe. Galatasaray, after inquiring about the transfer conditions, has now taken a tangible step by submitting its first official offer to Stuttgart. Last season, Demirovic contributed to 20 goals in 38 appearances for Stuttgart, scoring 15 goals and providing 5 assists.
