Su Chiao-hui: Upgrade Xinzhuang Sports Park to Boost New Taipei Sports Industry

Su Chiao-hui, a candidate for New Taipei City mayor, outlined her vision for revitalizing the Xinzhuang Sports Park, aiming to transform it into a hub for sports industry development. Speaking at a grassroots meeting with City Councilor Lin Ping-yu, Su emphasized the need for innovative approaches to governance.

As a local leader, one must possess new concepts. Xinzhuang, in addition to traditional cultural rituals, also has the potential to develop the sports industry.

She proposed integrating Artificial Intelligence into the park's management, optimizing everything from parking and traffic flow to event scheduling. This upgrade, she believes, will significantly boost New Taipei City's sports industry. Su also pledged to encourage grassroots sports and accelerate the renovation of sports facilities in local schools to foster a stronger sports culture.

Su highlighted her collaboration with Lin Ping-yu, citing their joint efforts on local infrastructure projects such as pedestrian overpasses and noise reduction for the Circular Line. She praised Lin for his dedication to both national and local issues, including his innovative approach to market reform, which aims to showcase the strengths of traditional markets and promote local characteristics.
