Successful fundraising ensures "Hazajáró" continues its journey

A charitable initiative, established through national solidarity, has successfully concluded its fundraising efforts for the remaining eleven episodes of the television series "Hazajáró." The campaign aimed to cover the production costs for the episodes that were suspended from MTVA's programming.

The creators of "Hazajáró," which has produced 429 episodes over fifteen years, highlighted that their content has never included partisan political opinions. Nevertheless, they believe that public media leaders, appointed by the Tisza government, decided the series and its unifying, apolitical spirit were no longer necessary.

"Hazajáró" has journeyed across the Carpathian Basin for fifteen years, showcasing its natural and cultural treasures, historical sites, and the daily lives of its Hungarian inhabitants. The show has evolved from a television program into a living community connecting Hungarians throughout the Carpathian Basin and the world. Following the successful fundraising, the creators intend to continue engaging their audience and fostering unity among Hungarians.
