Summer romance arrives in the mountains: Wuling Farm's hydrangeas in full bloom

Wuling Farm in Taiwan is currently awash in a romantic summer spectacle as its hydrangea flowers reach full bloom. Thousands of colorful blossoms are carpeting the mountain landscape, drawing visitors seeking a cool escape and floral beauty. The farm expects the display, featuring varieties like Annabelle, Panicle, and French hydrangeas, to continue captivating visitors until late July.

To enhance the visitor experience, Wuling Farm has introduced artistic "flower chozu" installations. These arrangements, featuring colorful hydrangeas floating in water basins and Japanese-style water features, offer a serene and elegant contrast to the larger flower fields. These unique displays have quickly become a popular photo opportunity this summer.

The farm's high-altitude climate cultivates diverse hydrangea types. The Annabelle variety is known for its large, snowball-like flower heads, transitioning from pale green to pure white. Panicle hydrangeas present a distinct conical shape, changing from white to pink or brick red as autumn approaches. French hydrangeas, the most common type, boast vibrant colors like red, blue, purple, and pink, creating a visually striking floral sea.
