Summer Season Kicks Off in Pirita with Festive Family Day and Púr Múdd Concert

Pirita's summer season officially launched with a large family day emphasizing safety and security. The event, the biggest of the season, featured demonstrations by lifeguard dogs and rescuers, and allowed visitors to explore equipment from rescue services and the police. A dramatic car rollover demonstration added to the excitement.

Crisis preparedness and wilderness survival tips were shared by MUPO, the Women's Voluntary Defence Organization, and the Defence League. For a fee, attendees could experience a ride on a real rescue boat. Creative workshops offered a chance to give items new life, while children enjoyed activities with FCI Levadia, Pirita Family Nest, and a bubble master, alongside pony rides and a bouncy castle.

The popular Selver Children's Fun Run took place in the first half of the day. The event culminated with a concert by the beloved dance music duo Púr Múdd, whose performance at the confluence of the river and the sea created a truly summery and festive mood.
