Sunbeth Global Concepts Secures Investment Grade Ratings from Agusto & Co. and Intelligence Africa

Sunbeth Global Concepts Limited has achieved a significant validation of its financial strength and strategic direction, securing investment-grade national scale credit ratings from two prominent African credit rating agencies. Agusto & Co., Nigeria's leading indigenous agency, assigned Sunbeth an A2 short-term and a Bbb long-term rating. Intelligence Africa, in its first-time assessment, awarded Sunbeth a BBB+.NG long-term issuer credit rating and an A2 short-term rating, with a stable outlook.

These ratings underscore Sunbeth's robust position in the market, particularly as one of Nigeria's foremost non-oil exporters. The agencies cited the company's strong foreign currency earnings, integrated business model, solid market standing, and healthy operating profitability as key supporting factors. Furthermore, Sunbeth benefits from a diversified funding base and substantial undrawn credit facilities, which bolster its liquidity.

The accolades arrive at a pivotal moment for Sunbeth, which was established in 2017. The company has since exported over 200,000 metric tonnes of cocoa and more than 60,000 metric tonnes of cashew. This expansion across international agricultural commodity markets has been paralleled by a strengthening of its operational capacity and financial structure to manage the increased working capital demands of large-scale sourcing, inventory management, and international trade finance.
