Sunny and Warm Weekend Ahead for Serbia, Highs of 38 Degrees

Serbia is set for a predominantly sunny and warm Saturday, August 22, according to the Republic Hydrometeorological Service. While northern and western regions will be slightly cooler, the rest of the country will continue to experience very warm conditions.

Maximum temperatures are forecast to range from 32 degrees Celsius in the north to a high of 38 degrees Celsius in the south of Serbia. In the afternoon, there is a possibility of localized rain or showers accompanied by thunderstorms in the hilly and mountainous areas.

Light to moderate winds are expected, becoming occasionally strong in Vojvodina and eastern Serbia, blowing from the west and northwest. The forecast for Sunday and Monday predicts continued predominantly sunny weather, with temperatures generally around the average for the third decade of August.

Starting Tuesday, the weather is expected to become more variable. Meteorologists anticipate changeable cloudiness, with scattered rain, local showers, and thunderstorms. Daily temperatures are expected to see a slight increase during this period.
