Sunshine and warm temperatures expected for the weekend

Denmark is set for a weekend of sunshine and warmer weather, according to Klaus Larsen, a duty meteorologist at the Danish Meteorological Institute (DMI). Friday will begin with cloud cover across much of the country as systems move in from the North Sea. However, Larsen expects these clouds to dissipate by the afternoon, allowing for sunny spells nationwide. Temperatures on Friday are predicted to range between 17 and 22 degrees Celsius, with a light to fresh westerly and northwesterly wind. Some coastal areas might experience stronger gusts. Saturday promises more sunshine and fewer clouds, with dry conditions expected throughout the day. Temperatures will remain similar to Friday's levels, but the wind will decrease to a weak to moderate southwesterly breeze. Larsen suggests it will be pleasant for enjoying the evening sun. Sunday is forecast to be the warmest day of the weekend, with temperatures climbing to between 25 and 28 degrees Celsius in many areas. The weather will remain largely dry with considerable sunshine and a light to moderate southerly wind. Larsen advises people to enjoy the summery temperatures on Sunday, as temperatures are expected to fall significantly on Monday, with clouds and rain moving in.
