However, Lara's report omits a controversial gesture made by forward Javier Correa towards Universidad de Chile supporters during the team's celebrations. Broadcast footage clearly showed Correa making an obscene gesture towards the fans. While Correa was booked with a yellow card in stoppage time for "unsportsmanlike conduct," the report does not connect this caution to the subsequent gesture.

The omission from the referee's report does not preclude a potential disciplinary review. A similar incident involving Lucas Cepeda in 2025, who was suspended for gestures towards Universidad de Chile fans, was addressed by the Disciplinary Tribunal even without initial mention in the referee's report. This suggests that Correa's actions could still face scrutiny.
