Supreme Court orders immediate payment of dues to dairy farmers

Nepal's Supreme Court has directed the government to prioritize and expedite the payment of overdue funds to dairy farmers. The landmark order, issued by a division bench comprising Justices Nahakul Subedi and Sunil Kumar Pokharel, mandates that farmers receive their pending dues without further delay.

Beyond immediate relief, the court's ruling also calls for the creation of a robust system to guarantee that farmers are consistently paid on time for the milk they supply.
