Sushi Chain Kura Sushi Opens First Nantou Store, Hosts Local Students

Kura Sushi, a popular conveyor belt sushi chain, has expanded its presence in Taiwan by opening its first store in Nantou County's Caotun Township. This new establishment, located on Zhongxing Road, is the company's 64th branch in Taiwan and represents a significant step in its regional expansion.

To mark the beginning of its trial operations, the Caotun Zhongxing Road store hosted an exclusive event for students from five local social welfare institutions. These included the Nantou Home for Children, the Yilin Social Care Center, the Chen Chou Grandma Social Welfare Foundation, the Nantou Ren Ai Home for Children and Youth, and the Chinese Children and Family Guardians Nantou After-School Care Center. The children enjoyed a variety of sushi, soups, and desserts after participating in pre-meal games organized by the staff.

The opening of the Caotun Zhongxing Road store took nearly two years from site selection to completion. It boasts 233 seats and is strategically located in a burgeoning commercial district on Caotun's outer ring road. This area has become a new hub for dining and daily necessities, with Kura Sushi situated near other popular eateries and retail outlets like McDonald's and a supermarket.

Kura Sushi is offering a 10% discount on set meals for customers who complete specific steps via the "E-Queue" app between August 29 and September 11. Reservations for the app are now open, with the official opening scheduled for August 29 at 11 a.m. The store's location is expected to contribute to the further expansion of the Caotun business district along the Zhongxing Road.
