Suspect Arrested After Armed Robbery and Shooting at Bremen Kiosk

Authorities have apprehended a 35-year-old man suspected of carrying out an armed robbery at a kiosk in Bremen-Findorff, which left an employee injured. The incident occurred early Sunday evening when the masked suspect allegedly confronted a 26-year-old kiosk employee.

The masked man allegedly robbed the kiosk with a blank-firing weapon, threatened the 26-year-old employee, and demanded cash.

According to police reports, the suspect brandished a blank-firing pistol and demanded that the employee hand over cash. When the employee refused, a physical altercation ensued. During the struggle, several shots were fired, and the suspect struck the employee on the head with the weapon before fleeing the scene.

The injured employee was transported to the hospital for treatment of a head laceration. Following the incident, a large-scale manhunt was initiated, leading to the temporary detention of several individuals. However, no charges were filed against them as suspicion could not be substantiated.

When the employee refused, the alleged perpetrator hit him on the head with the weapon during a struggle, and several shots were fired.

Later that night, police were called back to the vicinity of the crime scene after a 44-year-old man reported being threatened with a weapon by another man. Officers apprehended the suspect as he attempted to flee. Preliminary investigations suggest this individual is also responsible for the earlier kiosk robbery, and he is now facing charges including aggravated robbery.
