Suspicious death of 25-year-old Bedriye: Claim emerges that she was pushed from balcony after seeking divorce

A 25-year-old woman, Bedriye Naz, died after falling from the fifth floor of her apartment building in Midyat, Mardin province. The incident, which occurred on August 11, has led to the arrest of her husband, Levent Naz, 32, who has been formally charged with her murder.

Authorities were dispatched to the scene after Naz was found on the ground. Medical personnel confirmed her death. Following an autopsy, her body was returned to her family for burial in Acırlı village. The investigation into the circumstances of her fall is ongoing.

However, the family's lawyer, Gurbet Bilbay, asserts that Bedriye Naz did not fall but was pushed to her death. Bilbay claims that Naz called her sister minutes before her death and that her husband later called his brother-in-law, confessing to the murder and stating it was premeditated. The lawyer also mentioned that the victim's sister is a witness to this alleged confession and that call records exist.

Bedriye Naz's sister, Filiz Dilekçi, echoed these claims, stating that her brother-in-law murdered her sister by pushing her from the fifth floor. She highlighted the tragedy of Naz leaving behind four young children and expressed a strong desire for justice.
