Suspicious item on train: Police evacuate ICE at Ulm main station - no danger found

Ulm's main train station experienced temporary disruptions on Sunday evening as police evacuated an ICE high-speed train and cordoned off sections of the station due to a suspicious item. The incident caused significant inconvenience for hundreds of travelers.

The train, en route from Munich to Hamburg, arrived at platform 1 around 4:50 PM. Following an initial report of a suspicious object inside the carriage, federal police officers swiftly cleared and secured the platform. Further restrictions were placed on platforms 25A, 27, and 28, halting train traffic.
