Syrian Son Finds Father's Bank Account Empty After Death in Kuwait

Authorities in Kuwait have launched an investigation into the baffling disappearance of money from a bank account belonging to a man who recently passed away, leaving his family in distress and seeking answers.

The Commercial Affairs Prosecution initiated the probe after the deceased's son, a Syrian national, filed a complaint. According to a security source, the man's father had been receiving intensive care at Al-Adan Hospital before his death. Upon collecting his father's belongings, including his bank card, the son later checked the account only to find it completely empty, with the entire balance of KD902 withdrawn.

Investigators are now focused on pinpointing the exact time of the withdrawals and identifying the individual responsible. The primary goal is to ascertain whether a criminal offense has taken place. Legal procedures have commenced as the investigation continues to unravel the circumstances surrounding the missing funds.
