Tainan Building Residents Complain of Delayed Mail, Missed Souvenir Collection

A resident in a landmark building in Tainan's East District has lodged a complaint against the property management, alleging that the delayed delivery of crucial mail led to a loss of rights. The resident missed the opportunity to collect shareholder meeting souvenirs due to the delay.

The resident recounted an incident where the mail was not delivered promptly, causing them to arrive at the designated collection point on May 8th only to find that all souvenirs had been distributed the previous evening. The resident criticized the management team's initial lack of apology and a supervisor's dismissive response when questioned.

Management attributed the delay to increased workload during preparations for Mother's Day activities on May 7th. They clarified that the mail in question was a standard letter, not registered or express mail, and was delivered the following day. While management did offer an apology for the inconvenience and requested committee members to also apologize, the resident reportedly did not accept it and did not specify their demands.

The resident urged the management committee and property company to address the service lapse, improve overall service quality, and uphold residents' rights, especially given the substantial management fees collected annually. The supervisor involved in the incident has since left the company.
