Taipei festival-goers can win Busan trip with ticket registration

Music fans attending the upcoming "Show Up Taipei" event have a chance to explore more of the city thanks to a new initiative linking concert tickets to local commerce. The event, collaborating with the JJA Asia Music Festival on August 29-30, encourages attendees to extend their experience beyond the music venues into Taipei's vibrant commercial districts.

Participants who register their JJA Asia Music Festival tickets through the Taipei Pass app or the event's official website will receive a 600 NT dollar electronic voucher. This voucher is divided into three parts: two 100 NT dollar vouchers for shopping districts, two 100 NT dollar vouchers for night markets, and two 100 NT dollar vouchers for traditional markets. This incentive aims to drive foot traffic to local businesses and allow festival-goers to discover Taipei's culinary and retail offerings.

Beyond the immediate discounts, the initiative also offers a chance to win significant prizes. All individuals who complete the ticket registration are entered into a lucky draw. The top prize is a pair of round-trip tickets to Busan, South Korea, offering a potential extension of the travel experience. Other prizes include JBL Flip 7 portable waterproof Bluetooth speakers and exclusive JJA Asia Music Festival merchandise.

The program, supported by the Taipei City Department of Economic Development, seeks to enhance the overall visitor experience by integrating cultural events with urban exploration and local economic stimulation. It transforms a single event ticket into a gateway for a fuller Taipei city tour.
