Taipei Hotel Hostess Found Dead in Rented Room After Days Missing

A 50-year-old hostess from a Taipei hotel was discovered deceased in her rented room after being missing for several days. Her landlord and agent became concerned when she did not respond to calls and decided to check on her. Upon entering the apartment, they were met with a strong odor of decomposition and found her body on the bed. The body showed signs of decomposition, indicating she had been dead for approximately two weeks. Police investigated the scene and found no signs of forced entry or struggle, leading them to preliminarily rule out foul play. The Taipei police department's Zhongshan First Precinct received the report and responded to the scene. After the forensic team collected evidence, the body was identified as the missing hostess.
