Taipei Job Fair Offers 770 Positions in August, YouBike Night Shifts Pay Up to NT$49,600

Taipei City's Department of Labor is launching a series of small-scale job fairs from August 4th to 7th, presenting a total of 770 positions from 24 well-known companies. The recruitment drive spans diverse industries such as transportation, hospitality, food service, retail, long-term care, automotive, and professional services, aiming to connect job seekers with a wide array of employment opportunities.

A significant highlight of this recruitment event is the emphasis on "tangible salaries and diverse job openings." Notably, YouBike (YouBike) is seeking dispatch and maintenance specialists. These roles, involving shift work, offer monthly salaries ranging from NT$38,600 to NT$43,600. Night and late-night shifts are particularly lucrative, potentially reaching NT$49,600 per month, with additional bonuses. For those preferring flexible hours, part-time positions are also available with hourly wages between NT$200 and NT$245, and some shifts include allowances and night transportation fees.

The hospitality and food service sector is another major focus. The Humble House Group is offering numerous positions at employment service stations in Wanhua and Xinyi, including restaurant supervisors, team leaders, service staff, kitchen personnel, reservation specialists, and technical roles. The Xinyi recruitment event alone features 104 vacancies, with restaurant supervisor salaries starting above NT$40,000 and team leader positions reaching up to NT$45,000. Kitchen staff can earn up to NT$48,000 monthly, providing a platform for career growth in the hotel and catering industry.

Other companies are also offering attractive positions. Wan Wei International Catering is recruiting for roles such as service staff, management trainees, and kitchen chefs, with internal chefs potentially earning up to NT$50,000 per month. Ju Man Sheng (Grand Hyatt Taipei) is hiring for banquet services, kitchen staff, and baking roles, with kitchen chefs earning a regular monthly salary of over NT$40,000. Retail and service industries are also providing "convenient work locations and flexible choices," with FamilyMart recruiting management trainees and various store personnel, and PX Mart offering positions in sales, cashier, and fresh food departments. Additionally, long-term care providers are seeking home care workers with hourly rates up to NT$550.
