The Taipei Department of Land Affairs has introduced a "Overall Development Zone Special Zone" on its "Taipei Land Cloud" platform, designed to demystify property transactions in areas undergoing urban renewal and land acquisition.

Previously, discerning between genuine market trends and promotional hype for areas like the "Beishike" or commercial office rents in the Xinyi Planning District required extensive research. This new feature breaks down complex data into easily digestible visual charts and maps. It provides clear information on average prices, highest and lowest transaction prices, and trading volumes within specific development zones. Users can also customize search parameters, such as timeframes and search radii, to compare current prices with surrounding areas, offering a precise snapshot of market dynamics.

Beyond market analysis, the upgraded "Taipei Land Cloud" addresses concerns about purchasing "industrial housing" – properties not zoned for residential use. The advanced "Fancy Overlay" function allows users to layer multiple map types, including urban planning zoning maps, aerial imagery, and even soil liquefaction potential maps. This enables a comprehensive assessment of development potential and associated risks, empowering both novice buyers and industry professionals with detailed information.
