Taiwan People's Party hosts large family water park event in Bade

The Taiwan People's Party's桃園市 (Taoyuan City) branch, in collaboration with Legislator Hong Yu-hsiang's Bade District service office, hosted a vibrant "Bade Castle Water Park – Parent-Child Fun, Cool Summer" event. The gathering, held on the lawn next to the North District Youth Activity Center's Taoyang Pavilion, saw an enthusiastic turnout, with 681 families registering and over a thousand individuals participating.

The event offered a variety of attractions, including six distinct play facilities. These included a large clownfish-themed slide pool, a bubble water park, a toddler-friendly pool, a Kuromi-themed inflatable castle, a parent-child fishing game, and a children's pinball machine. The setup catered to children of different age groups, ensuring a fun-filled experience for all.

Party Chairman Huang Kuo-chang and Bade District council candidate Lin Yen-liang were present, mingling with the crowd and highlighting the growing demand for family leisure and children's activities in Bade, an area that has seen significant population growth. Lin Yen-liang expressed hope that such free, outdoor events would increase opportunities for parents and children to engage in recreational activities together.

To manage the large number of attendees, organizers implemented a staggered entry system based on age groups and time slots. Staff were on hand to maintain order and safety across the various game zones, with parents encouraged to participate alongside their children. The event ran from 2 PM to 7 PM, providing a substantial block of time for families to enjoy the festivities.

Bade has seen population growth in recent years, and the need for family leisure and children's activity spaces has received considerable attention from many families. We hope to increase opportunities for parents and children to participate in outdoor recreation through free family events.
