Taiwan's President Orders Party Support for Local Elections

Taiwanese President and Democratic Progressive Party (DPP) Chairman Lai Ching-te has issued a directive calling for full support of party candidates in the upcoming local elections. This call to action comes after the successful completion of the DPP's biennial party elections, which involved selecting party representatives and committee chairs across various levels.

During a Central Executive Committee meeting, Lai highlighted the critical nature of the year-end local elections.
