Taiwan's Tri-Service General Hospital Earns HIMSS EMRAM Level 6 Certification

Tri-Service General Hospital (TSGH) has achieved a significant milestone, becoming the first institution within Taiwan's military medical system to receive the HIMSS EMRAM Level 6 certification. This international recognition, announced on May 13, validates the hospital's advanced implementation of electronic health record systems and its commitment to digital transformation in healthcare.

The HIMSS Electronic Medical Record Adoption Model (EMRAM) is globally recognized as a benchmark for evaluating the application of health information technology. Achieving Level 6 signifies that TSGH has successfully integrated comprehensive electronic health records, implemented closed-loop management for its Clinical Decision Support System (CDSS), and established a high level of information security, meeting rigorous international standards.

According to TSGH, the upgrade of its medical information systems has streamlined workflows for clinical nursing staff and enhanced overall efficiency. The hospital emphasizes that this advancement directly contributes to patient safety by embedding it at the core of every medical decision, aligning TSGH with global smart healthcare trends.
