In a notable display of political cooperation, New Taipei City mayoral candidate Li Chuan-hsi of the Kuomintang party and independent candidate Chen Yen-ting shared the stage at a private enterprise scholarship event in Luzhou. This joint appearance comes after a previous instance where they did not publicly align during a campaign stop, sparking speculation about their electoral strategy.

During the event, Chen Yen-ting proactively joined Li Chuan-hsi on stage, prompted by members of the Taiwan People's Party. Li Chuan-hsi then introduced Chen to the attendees and warmly shook his hand as they departed. This interaction suggests a concerted effort to present a united front, potentially signaling a "blue-white alliance" strategy for the upcoming mayoral elections, a tactic previously employed in other races.
