Taiwanese Stars Flock to Celebrity Wedding Banquet Years After Nuptials

Taiwanese actress Bai Chia-chi and her husband Wu Tung-yen celebrated their marriage with a lavish banquet eight years after tying the knot. The event, held on June 20th in Taipei, drew an impressive roster of over 100 celebrities from Taiwan's entertainment industry, making the guest list comparable to a major awards ceremony.

Prominent figures from television, hosting, and acting circles attended to honor the couple. The guest list included well-known personalities such as Chen Mei-feng, Hu Gua, Chen Mei-feng, and numerous stars from popular Taiwanese dramas. The couple's families were also present, with Bai Chia-chi's sister and brother-in-law, as well as his twin brother, in attendance, underscoring the couple's strong family ties and popularity.

Planning the large-scale event presented challenges, particularly in seating arrangements for the more than 100 celebrity guests. Bai Chia-chi humorously recounted late-night discussions with her husband over seating charts, which at one point became tense. She shared their strategy of "zero discussion, cake-cutting division of labor," where each spouse took full responsibility for different aspects of the wedding, such as program flow and decorations, to minimize conflict and leverage their individual strengths. This approach, she explained, allowed them to trust each other's judgment and ensure a smoother planning process.
