Tajik women’s team advances to Asia Cup 2027: victory over Jordan secures first place in group

Tajikistan’s youth national football team secured first place in its qualifying group for the AFC U-20 Asian Cup 2027 by beating Jordan 1-0.

The result completed a recovery after Tajikistan lost 3-2 to Bahrain in its opening match. The team responded with a 4-1 victory over Afghanistan before facing Jordan, which had won both of its previous matches and led the group with six points.
