Take That to headline Tinderbox festival in 2027

The British pop group Take That, a major force in the 1990s music scene, is set to headline the Tinderbox festival in 2027. The festival announced the booking on its website, confirming the band will perform in Odense's Tusindårsskoven.

Take That dominated international charts in the mid-1990s with hits like "Back for Good," "Relight My Fire," and "Pray." The original lineup included Robbie Williams, Gary Barlow, Howard Donald, Mark Owen, and Jason Orange. However, when the band takes the stage in Odense, Williams and Orange will not be part of the performance.

Robbie Williams launched a successful solo career after leaving the group in 1995, though he briefly rejoined in 2010 and has made occasional appearances with his former bandmates. Take That disbanded a year after Williams' departure but reunited in 2006 in a new configuration without him, releasing further hits such as "Patience," "Shine," and "Rule the World."

Take That is the first act revealed for next year's festival. Tinderbox is scheduled to take place from June 24 to 26, 2027.
