Tambuwal, Ihedioha, Imoke Lead ADC’s 73-man Campaign Council for Osun Guber Poll

The African Democratic Congress (ADC) has assembled a formidable 73-member campaign council to spearhead its efforts in the upcoming Osun State governorship election. The party is deploying prominent national leaders and coalition figures to coordinate its campaign activities in the state, signaling a significant push to mobilize support.

Leading the charge is former governor of Cross River State, Senator Liyel Imoke, who heads the Election Management Council. Senator Aminu Tambuwal, a former governor of Sokoto State, will serve as the chairperson, with ex-governor of Imo State, Hon. Emeka Ihedioha, and General Kabiru Nadama (rtd.) as co-chairmen. The ADC National Publicity Secretary, Bolaji Abdullahi, announced the council's composition, emphasizing its role in overseeing all campaign activities.

The party's campaign is set to culminate in a grand final rally on Monday, August 10, at the Nelson Mandela Freedom Park in Osogbo. The ADC expects this rally to unite its national leadership, governorship candidate, coalition leaders, campaign officials, supporters, and the public, underscoring the importance of the event for their electoral prospects.
