Tanzi's innovative seeder is a major draw at Argentina's La Rural exhibition

Argentine agricultural technology firm Tanzi is drawing attention at the 138th Rural Exhibition in Palermo with its innovative Special 4 Air Drill GEN 3 seeder. The company, with 60 years of history, presents this machine as a benchmark in the Argentine market for its technological advancements aimed at optimizing resource use and improving sowing efficiency.

The Special 4 Air Drill GEN 3 boasts a significantly increased hopper capacity, holding 8,000 liters, which represents a more than 50% increase over previous models. This enhancement, along with other integrated technologies, addresses the growing demand from producers for greater precision and reduced operational errors in farming.

Key innovations include the TANZI NEXUS controller, developed with ISOBUS technology, which acts as a central command system. It manages features like automatic sectional control, flow monitoring, and input weighing and self-calibration. Another significant development is TANZI SmartCal, a system designed to ensure precise application of seeds and fertilizers, crucial variables for profitability, by automating calibration and minimizing errors.

Further enhancing precision, the seeder incorporates the TANZI DynamicForce system, an electro-hydraulic technology that allows operators to adjust and maintain consistent downforce on the openers. This is vital for uniform seeding, especially across varied soil conditions. Additionally, the TANZI IntelliFlow doser enables independent operation of the seeder in four sections, facilitating automatic sectional control to prevent overlap and improve the utilization of seeds and fertilizers.
