When I first held Liya in my arms, when I felt her heartbeat in my heart, everything had changed. Life had gained meaning. Fatherhood, beyond everything, was a tremendous feeling. Of course, I made mistakes while raising a child, and I still do. Because there is no such thing as perfect parenting. For me as a father, what is important is; that my child feels safe, knows that I am unconditionally by her side, that we can laugh and have fun together, and most importantly, that I can raise her with love, respect, and tolerance.
