Tax Administration Jamaica announces temporary suspension of e-services for system maintenance

Tax Administration Jamaica (TAJ) is advising the public that its Revenue Administration Information System (RAiS) e-Services platform will undergo scheduled maintenance, leading to a temporary suspension of services.

The system downtime is slated to occur from 8:00 p.m. on Friday, June 19, 2026, until 8:00 a.m. on Saturday, June 20, 2026. During this 24-hour period, the RAiS e-Services platform will be unavailable as maintenance activities are carried out. TAJ stated that these enhancements are intended to improve system performance and the overall user experience.

Importantly, the maintenance activities will not impact several key online services. Customers will still be able to make online payments for property taxes, motor vehicle fitness fees, and traffic tickets during the scheduled downtime. TAJ has apologized for any inconvenience this temporary disruption may cause and expressed gratitude for customers' patience and understanding as they work to enhance their e-services.
