Taylor Fritz suffers another final defeat in Halle

American tennis player Taylor Fritz suffered another final defeat, losing to compatriot Frances Tiafoe in the Halle Open final. This marks Fritz's second consecutive ATP 500 final loss, having previously been bested by Ben Shelton the week before in Stuttgart. Tiafoe, who had to save match points in the quarterfinals against Fritz, secured his first ATP 500 title with a 6:4, 6:4 victory.
