Taylor Swift Surprises All with Live Performance of Song Written for Toy Story 5

Taylor Swift surprised attendees at the Toy Story 5 premiere in Los Angeles by performing her new song, "I Knew It, I Knew You," live for the first time. The track, inspired by the character Jessie, was co-written and produced by Swift and Jack Antonoff. Swift, who walked the red carpet in a floral dress, later appeared on stage in a yellow gown reminiscent of Jessie's colors. She sat at the piano and delivered a heartfelt rendition of the song, which she described as deeply connected to the film's narrative. "It means so much to be a small part of the universe of these movies," Swift told the audience. "Toy Story 5 is my favorite of all the Toy Story films. I feel very lucky to be able to be a part of this." She further praised the movie, calling it "incredibly beautiful" and a "masterpiece." The film's director, Andrew Stanton, noted Swift's immediate understanding of Jessie's emotional journey, stating her connection to the character was undeniable. "I Knew It, I Knew You" was released on June 5, and Stanton expressed that hearing it felt like rediscovering a long-lost relative. Toy Story 5 is set to release in Argentine cinemas on June 17.
