Teen Prodigy Kim Ye-geon Makes Red Star Belgrade Debut: “I Want to Win Many Titles”

Kim Ye-geon began his European career with 11 minutes for Red Star Belgrade in a 2-0 Serbian SuperLiga victory over FK Zemun.

The 2008-born South Korean joined Red Star after leaving K League 1 club Jeonbuk Hyundai. He entered in the 79th minute alongside fellow newcomer Mohamed Cham, after Mirko Ivanić had put Red Star ahead. Mohamed Abu Fani added the second goal in the 92nd minute.

Kim attacked from the wing and helped create a late opportunity. After shaking off a defender near the edge of the penalty area, he passed to Matej Gashtarov, whose curling shot was saved.
